Welcome to Mountain Creek.
Homeowners enjoy a large swimming pool, four lighted tennis courts and a very nice playground for the little ones. The Pool is the center of social activity during the summer and tennis is a big part of the neighborhood social activity year round. Mountain Creek has many social activities for children, families, and adults. The Pool, Tennis Courts and Playground are owned and operated by the Mountain Creek Recreation Association, MCRA, and are for members only. Not all of the homes in the neighborhood are members of the recreation association. Member Index
The Mission of the Mountain Creek Recreation Association is to oversee the use and maintenance of the recreation facilities in the Mountain Creek Subdivision. This includes the Tennis Courts, Pool, and Playground as well as the property where these facilities are located. MCRA, as the only organized group in our neighborhood, has taken on the responsibility of maintaining the common grounds in the Mountain Creek subdivision which includes each entrance and the two islands on the Shallowford side of the neighborhood.
The board of directors are elected at the October General Membership Meeting for a two year term. Because of their complexity, some of the positions have two Board members. The goal is to have these positions overlap so that a new Board member is always working with an experienced Board Member.
