2009 Educator of the Year - Mary Alice O'Neill

On June 9th, the Kiwanis Club of Bainbridge Island awarded the first Educator of the Year Award to Mary Alice O'Neill by Kiwanis President Dean Newcomb.

In an effort to recognize and promote Education on Bainbridge Island, the Kiwanis Club created this award to be awarded annually. Both the Educator and their school each receive a $500 grant.

Candidates can be nominated by fellow teachers, students, administrators and/or parents.

Watch for the nomination period next year to nominate your outstanding Educator.
