One of our club's most enjoyable activities is our annual January meeting. The meeting is followed by a luncheon put on by the club members. In conjunction with our activities we also host a dinner and awards event. Dog shows lend to a pleasant atmosphere for members and interested spectators to visit and learn.  Our quarterly meetings afford an opportunity for usual business and planning for our yearly events and fundraisers.  We continue to strive year after year to improve the future and past of our club and that of our breed - but most importantly -  that of our breed, THE KERRY BLUE TERRIER Visit  our website pages and check out some of the fun Kerry activities put on by our club members. Membership Requirements:

• Applicant must be in good standing with the United States Kerry Blue Terrier Club and the American Kennel Club - if a member or former member.
• Applicant must not have been expelled by another AKC sanctioned dog club or organization.
• Applicants for a Supporting Membership (non-voting) may join by filling out an application. If your membership application is approved you will be notified. Memberships are not active or official until dues are paid. Applications for Supporting Memberships must be approved by a majority vote of the Board of Directors and at least two current references from contributing members must accompany the application. 
• Applicants for a Contributing Memberships must have been a Supporting Member of the KBTCSD for two years and must have 5 written recommendations from current Contributing Members of the KBTCSD. The application must be approved by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
• All applications for membership must be approved by a majority vote of the board of directors.
• Once an applicant is approved for membership a letter or e-mail will be sent confirming the membership.
• All members should donate 30 hrs of volunteer service per year to club related events or projects.  
• All approved Applicants must agree to the AKC's Code of Ethics and Sportsmanship rules and pay their dues before memberships are active and official..

Annual Membership Types & Fees:

• Contributing Member - $45 (one vote membership)
• Contributing Household Membership - $65 (two voting memberships)( two individuals residing at the same address)
• Supporting Member - $30 (non voting membership)
• Supporting Household Memberships - $45 (2 non-voting membership at same address)
• Junior Member - $5 ( non-voting membership -age 10 to 17 years old) 
• Kerry Kids - Kerry Kids—for 5-10 year olds--- non-voting membership at no charge, just a willingness to be a part.
• Initial Applicant Processing Fee - $10 (first time membership application only except Junior or Kerry Kids memberships)
